Kan nu goed dienst doen om undying van de tegenstander "uit te zetten" alvorens je er removal tegen aan gooit.

Dat klopt, het mogen er 1 of 2 zijn. Het mag er zelfs geen een zijn. Maar je plaatst maar 1 +1/+1 counter per beest, maakt niet uit hoeveel je er aanwijst.

If Travel Preparations targets two creatures, and one of them is an illegal target by the time Travel Preparations resolves, you’ll still put a +1/+1 counter on the other creature.
