Nee, het effect eindigt inderdaad niet aan het einde van de beurt.
Dan had er "until end of turn" gestaan.

De tegenstander KIEST een target, maar het is de kaart die het beest daadwerkelijk target. De tegenstander mag een pro-wit beest dus niet als target kiezen.

volgends mij helpt protect niet tegen deze kaart. omdat het een keuze is van de owner's duss target deze kaart niet de creature.

Kan je tegenstander hier ook pro white beesten mee aanwijzen? Ik gok van niet, want er wordt toch getarget. Maar met deze kaart vind ik het toch net iffy genoeg om het toch maar te vragen voor de zekerheid.

When you put the spell on the stack, you choose an opponent, then that opponent chooses the target. This is not a choice made on resolution.

The target of the spell is a creature the chosen opponent controls. As Evangelize resolves, if the target isn’t a creature controlled by the chosen opponent, Evangelize won’t resolve. If Evangelize’s target is changed (via Shunt, for example), the new target must be a creature controlled by the chosen opponent.
