Tja, daar zit wel iets in.
Als je WWWW open houdt heeft hij wel bolt-insurance. 
Hoewel “dies to removal” inmiddels wat cliché is is het een argument dat vaak weldegelijk stand houdt, gelet op het huidige power level van Magic. Een beest dat niet meteen iets doet zodra het de battlefield raakt is tegenwoordig vaak gewoon niet meer goed genoeg. Het argument wordt wat mij betreft nog wat sterker als reactie op “Probeer daar maar eens vanaf te komen.”

Door de banding is deze nog wel leuk. Je assigned dan alle damage op deze en boost vervolgens zijn toughness zodat hij het overleeft. (In omgekeerde volgorde, natuurlijk.)
Probeer daar maar eens vanaf te komen.
Craprares zijn van alle tijden ...

Samen in een beroerd Ice Age deck met Mercenaries, die ook rare is 
Bovendien past de perfecte uitbalancering van deze rare ook wel redelijk in de Ice Age sfeer, omdat deze kaart vrij beroerd is.

Colorpie-technisch gezien is het wel passend dat een toughness boost een meer witte aangelegenheid is dan een power boost.
Kan best zijn maarre... ik hoop dat het niet zo diep is daaronder, want dit randje is wel erg dun!
En men heeft er blijkbaar lang over na gedacht dat +1/+0 1W moet kosten, en +0/+2 WW. Apart.

If a creature with banding attacks, it can team up with any number of other attacking creatures with banding (and up to one nonbanding creature) and attack as a unit called a “band.” The band can be blocked by any creature that could block a single creature in the band. Blocking any creature in a band blocks the entire band. If a creature with banding is blocked, the attacking player chooses how the blockers’ damage is assigned.
