Ik vind hem best grappig in mijn Riku of Two Reflections EDH deck, maar verder is hij niet bijster nuttig.
Als removal/vertraging is hij gewoon slecht. Disperse is goedkoper, geeft je tegenstander geen gratis replay, en is meestal nog steeds te mager om in decks te stoppen.
Als 'red je eigen spul' optie heeft deze wel wat nut, maar er zijn vrij weinig decks waarin je 3 mana open wil houden voor zo'n conditionele reddingsoptie die je nog steeds opnieuw summoning sickness e.d. geeft. Een simpele Cancel stopt immers ook removal.
Heeft iemand hier al ervaring mee?
Hij lijkt me heel erg universeel, hij is zowel op je eigen spul te gebruiken om 't te redden van een boardwipe, alsook even die planeswalker opruimen die bijna z'n ultimate gaat doen, of die laatste blocker "unsummonnen" voor de kill.
Natuurlijk heeft het dan weer te weinig nut om b.v. je tegenstanders permanents met een goed ETB effect tijdelijk weg te halen, dan is 3 mana en 1 kaart weer te matig.
Eigenlijk is het een soort Disperse behalve dat je gratis mag casten.
Vinden jullie deze kaart in de praktijk goed?

Casting the exiled card follows the normal timing rules for casting that card. For example, if the card is a creature card, you can cast that card only during your main phase while the stack is empty.

If you cast a card “without paying its mana cost,” you can’t pay any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, such as that of Silvergill Adept, those must be paid to cast the card.
