Dat geldt voor heel veel mensen, aangezien de regels over verdubbelde counters niet 100% intuitief duidelijk zijn als je alleen de kaart leest. Thanks Peanut voor je toelichting!
Maar als ik de +2 activeer met Doubling Season in het spel komen er toch 4 counters op?
Edit: never mind, ik snap nu wat je zegt. Hm, dan spelen we DS eigenlijk continue verkeerd

8 loyalty + 2 loyalty is nog steeds 10 loyalty 
Dus je moet nog een beurt wachten. Doubling verdubbeld namelijk alleen effecten en geen costs.
Ik snap dat niemand deze wil (kan?) spelen in standard, maar in commander is het een prima kaart hoor. Die -11 is wellicht wat veel, maar als ik een Doubling Season heb liggen en ik speel deze, dan kan ik in de beurt erna al z'n ultimate activeren. En Ajani blijft nog liggen ook

If you don’t have a creature card in your library while resolving Ajani’s second ability, you’ll reveal your library and then randomize it.

The value of X for Ajani’s third ability is determined only as it resolves. The number of +1/+1 counters on the creature won’t change later if your life total changes.
