Ik vermoed dat deze kaart iets te gekunsteld is, om als "goed" beschouwd te kunnen worden. Witte creatures met Heroic, +1/+1 counters erop, en dan deze Aura. Tja, misschien lukt het. Maar wel zo eenvoudig en krachtig zijn alternatieven als Hyena Umbra en Armored Ascension.

Ik speel deze in combinatie met Akroan Skyguard doordat deze flying heeft en een colorless vind ik hem persoonlijk beter dan de Phalanx Leader

Maar het uitspelen target wel, en dan zorgt hij zelf ervoor dat hij een behoorlijke boost krijgt.

Johannes Bolster is geen spell + het target niet dus dat werkt maar 1 keer.

Hoezo niet? Je beest krijgt ook vigilance, dus je kan eerst aanvallen.
Ook leuk op Phalanx Leader.

Spelen in een Hydra, Graft of Phantom deck ofzo om een beestje +heel veel/+heel veel te geven. Tap ability ga je never nooit gebruiken.

Bolster itself doesn’t target any creature, though some spells and abilities that bolster may have other effects that target creatures. For example, you could put counters on a creature with protection from white with Aven Tactician’s bolster ability.

You determine which creature to put counters on as the spell or ability that instructs you to bolster resolves. That could be the creature with the bolster ability, if it’s still under your control and has the least toughness.
