Hexproof komt volgens mij uit Mirrodin, zie Troll Ascetic for example. 
Verder heb je natuurlijk Pyroclasm, Wrath of God waarmee je Hexproof beestjes mee kunt weghalen.

Volgens mij was Thrun, the Last Troll de eerste met Hexproof, wat suggereert dat deze mechanic pas zo'n twee jaar bestaat.
Dit is de eerste kaart sindsdien die daar iets aan kan doen volgens mij.
En naast Humility heb je nog Sudden Spoiling.
Maar specifiek hexproof verwijderen volgens mij verder niet inderdaad.
Wel zoals het hier verwoord wordt. Natuurlijk kunnen kaarten zoals Humility dat ook. Maar hier wordt specifiek hexproof verwijdert.

Creatures your opponents control don’t actually lose hexproof, although you will ignore hexproof for purposes of choosing targets of spells and abilities you control.

Creatures that come under your control after Glaring Spotlight’s last ability resolves won’t have hexproof but they can’t be blocked that turn.
