@dustin, dat het deck faalt zou ik niet zeggen, Vengevine is niet alleen een BackUp plan, eigenlijk gebruik ik de Vengevine's vaker dan de quest

GW Quest speelt hem nog als back up plan voor als Quest faalt... maar dat zegt het eigenlijk al: het deck faalt, en nee, Vengevine is momenteel geen veel gespeelde kaart meer, as far as I know.

volgens mij heeft hij een waarde van: 27,50.
even serieus wordt deze eigenlijk in het huidige Standard nog gespeeld? Ik hoor enkel boros, vampires, XBlade, decks
Kun je dat ook onderbouwen? Een beetje een wazige opmerking namelijk.

"vroeger", 4 maanden terug dus...
maarja niet voor niks dat survival werd geband omdat het deck overal ineens opdook in abnormale proporties.
voor de uitleg nog:
Deze + Basking Rootwalla + Survival of the Fittest betekende met alleen survival in het spel en een vengevine in je hand al voor 2x vengevine + 2x rootwalla in het spel voor

discard vengevine zoek vengine, discard vengevine zoek rootwalla, discard rootwalla (cast gratis) zoek er nog één en zoek nog wat leuks.
voor 5x had je dus al 3x vengevine liggen.
Nu gaat dit alles wat trager met Fauna Shaman die dit maar 1 keer per beurt kan.

Fauna Shaman is er goed mee, verder werd hij vroeger gebruikt met Survival of the Fittest.
Kaartvoordeel door deze te discarden aan de Fauna Shaman.
Het is een beest dat moeilijk doodgaat.
Het komt makkelijk terug mocht het doodgaan.
4 mana voor 4 power met haste.
Allemaal redenen waarom deze een van de topcreatures zijn in de huidige Standard-meta.

If you cast your second creature spell in a turn and Vengevine is in your graveyard, Vengevine’s second ability triggers and goes on the stack on top of it. The ability will resolve, allowing you to return Vengevine to the battlefield, before the creature spell does.

Vengevine’s triggered ability works only if Vengevine is already in your graveyard as you finish casting your second creature spell in a turn, and it remains there continuously until the ability resolves.

Vengevine doesn’t need to be in your graveyard as you start casting your second creature spell in a turn, only as you finish. This matters if you sacrifice a Vengevine on the battlefield while casting that creature spell, perhaps to pay a cost of that spell or a cost of a mana ability.

Vengevine’s triggered ability checks the card types of the spells you cast over the course of the entire turn, not just the ones you cast while Vengevine is in your graveyard. For example, if you cast a creature spell, then Vengevine is put into your graveyard, then you cast another creature spell, Vengevine’s ability triggers.

Vengevine’s ability triggers only for the second creature spell you cast in a turn. It won’t trigger for the third, fourth, or so on. It also doesn’t matter how many noncreature spells you cast in a turn; the ability counts just the creature spells.
