New Phyrexia spoiler 
Magic's May 2011 small set, code-named "Action," is called ... something we're not going to tell you yet.
Here's the deal: Right now, Mirrodin is the site of a war between the Mirrans and the Phyrexians. And one of those sides is going to win. But we don't want to reveal the winner just yet. So we can tell you that the third set in the Scars of Mirrodin Block is going to be either Mirrodin Pure or New Phyrexia.

***New Mechanic: Phyrexian Mana Symbols***
Under Phyrexian rule, the very nature of magic is changing. In some cases, blood works just as well as mana. Phyrexian mana allows players to cast spells and activate abilities with fewer mana and to ignore colored mana requirements.
Visually, each Phyrexian mana symbol looks like the Phyrexian insignia (a circle with a slash through it) on one of five colored backgrounds, each corresponding to one of the five colors of mana. Each Phyrexian mana symbol represents a cost that can be paid in two ways: by spending one mana of the color that matches the colored background or by paying 2 life. For example, {G/P} can be paid with either {G} or 2 life. It's a green mana symbol.
* Phyrexian mana symbols appear only in costs, such as the mana cost in the upper right corner of a card or the cost to activate an activated ability.
* A card with Phyrexian mana symbols in its mana cost is each color that appears in that mana cost, regardless of how that cost may have been paid. For example, the Surgical Extraction above is black, even if a player paid 2 life to cast it.
* To calculate the converted mana cost of a card with Phyrexian mana symbols in its cost, count each Phyrexian mana symbol as 1.
* As you cast a spell or activate an activated ability with one or more Phyrexian mana symbols in its cost, you choose how to pay for each Phyrexian mana symbol at the same time you would choose modes or choose a value for X.
* If you're at 1 life or less, you can't pay 2 life.
* Phyrexian mana is not a new color. Players can't add Phyrexian mana to their mana pools.

Zekers. Alle toernooispelers willen deze ook 4x hebben. Veel te goed omdat hij buiten zwart ook kan.
Mwah, ik ben vooralsnog niet erg onder de indruk. Er moet wel eerst een bepaalde kaart in de graveyard komen, voordat deze nuttig wordt. Stel dat je eigenlijk de Primeval Titans uit iemand zijn deck wil halen, dan moet hij er dus eerst eentje casten, jij moet die dan killen, en dan vervolgens deze kaart spelen. Lijkt me niet bijzonder efficiënt.
Misschien is het alvast voor het volgende blok. Als die graveyard dependant is, is dit alvast een mooi antwoord.

Extirpate werd ook nagenoeg niet gespeeld toen die legaal was. Ik verwacht dus ook niet zoveel van deze.
en vanaf nu op de site te gebruiken zoals gewone manasymbolen met een p erachter. dus bv ( bp ) zonder spaties.

ik zit even te denken of hij zo'n turn 1 bazaar dredge combo kan tegenhouden, want je kan hem turn 0 op de draw spelen al.
Volgens mij is het niet Etched Oracle, maar Etched Champion. Overigens wel onwijs coole art (staat trouwens gewoon in de arcana van vandaag: hier )
Het is in ieder geval wss "Etched nogwat"
Verder vroeg ik me af als de vrijgegeven art ook daadwerkelijk op kaarten gaat komen, of wordt er wel vaker concept art vrijgegeven die niet wordt gebruikt?
