Het "When creature dies, pay 
to return it" (zeer bot verwoord) is geen activated, maar een triggered ability.
Activated abilities bestaan uit [cost]:[effect] , en gebruiken een dubbele punt.
Triggered abilities gebruiken het woordje "when" , "whenever" of "at".
hier meer over abilities.
Is het mogelijk om met grand architect mana te genereren voor nim deathmantle?
is dat een activated ability?
dat zou vrij goed zijn vs removal namelijk!

Ik zeg Grand Architect met Trinket Mage, Treasure Mage, <insert vadsig artifact beest> en Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas.
Blauw met zwarte splash zal het vast goed doen. + Jace 2.0, Duress o.i.d..

Mwa, kan het Grand Architect ook niet kwalijk nemen, dit is bijna even goed als een Lotus Cobra met de nieuwe Colossus..

Even een vraagje, als je een artifact verandert in een blue monster wordt het dan een artifact blue monster of gewoon mono blue?

Het kan trouwens wel, gewoon een Engineered Plague ernaast leggen. Altijd nuttig zo'n 4 kaart combo.

Ok, jammer.
Ja, een ability als deze geldt vanaf het allereerste moment dat zo'n creature op de battlefield is. En dan triggeren ETB-abilities pas.
Er is met deze geen enkel moment dat zo'n Thopter token 1/1 is. Ze zijn vanaf het begin al 2/2.

weer wat geleerd denk ik.
een creature die een bonus krijgt zoals deze heeft deze bonus al voordat de ETB triggers afgaan?
klinkt enigszins logisch omdat die triggers pas afgaan als het creature geresolved is maar zou zeggen dat het ook net andersom kan.
De Architect maakt je Thopter tokens 2/2, dus Sword of the Meek komt niet terug...
