Ik wist het ook niet totdat ik er eentje zocht. Het is vooral onduidelijk dat het op kaart zelf niet te zien is dat het een "special" is. Ik weet dat het collector's number 285 van de 280 is maar je moet het maar net zien. Bovendien heeft, bijvoorbeeld, Korvold, Fae-Cursed King slechts het getal 329 staan en weet ik al helemaal niet wat voor een kaart het is. 
Allemaal erg vaag.
Ik zie nu inderdaad dat je deze niet uit een reguliere M20 booster kunt trekken, dat verklaart een hoop.
Heeft te maken met schaarste. Volgens mij zit deze ook niet "gewoon" in M20.
Ik zie de toegevoegde waarde en de sterkte in een lifegain deck heus wel, maar er zijn meer sterke uncommons die over het algemeen maximaal een paar dubbeltjes waard zijn als het een recente set betreft. Daarom verbaast het me dat deze kaart al zeker 10 keer duurder is geworden.
Goede kaart, hoor! In Commander is het meteen een 3/3 double strike voor 4 mana. Met Soul Warden & Co gaat het hard!
Wie had gedacht dat dit zo'n dure uncommon zou worden, in zo'n recente serie!

The first ability of Twinblade Paladin triggers just once for each life-gaining event, whether it’s 1 life from Impassioned Orator or 4 life from Dawning Angel. If you gain an amount of life “for each” of something or “equal to the number” of something, that life is gained as one event and the ability of Twinblade Paladin triggers only once.

If Twinblade Paladin is dealt lethal damage at the same time that you gain life, it won’t receive a counter from its ability in time to save it.

Each creature with lifelink dealing combat damage causes a separate life-gaining event. For example, if two creatures you control with lifelink deal combat damage at the same time, Twinblade Paladin’s first ability will trigger twice. However, if a single creature you control with lifelink deals combat damage to multiple creatures, players, and/or planeswalkers at the same time (perhaps because it has trample or was blocked by more than one creature), the ability will trigger only once.

If you’re dealt first-strike combat damage that brings your life total below 25, Twinblade Paladin will immediately lose double strike. It won’t deal regular combat damage unless you bring your life total back above 25 before the regular combat damage step.

If Twinblade Paladin gains double strike after combat damage has already been dealt (most likely because a creature with lifelink dealt combat damage), Twinblade Paladin will deal only regular combat damage.

In a Two-Headed Giant game, life gained by your teammate won’t cause the first ability to trigger, even though it caused your team’s life total to increase.
