10/1/2009 If the revealed card is a land, you can play it only if it's your turn and you haven't yet played a land this turn.

Comprule:
305.3. A player can't play a land, ->for any reason<-, if it isn't his or her turn. Ignore any part of an effect that instructs a player to do so. Similarly, a player can't play a land, for any reason, if that player has used all of his or her land plays for that turn. Ignore any part of an effect that instructs a player to do so.

Landen kan je alleen in je eigen beurt spelen. No exceptions. Met djinn kan je je land eventueel nog in je upkeep o.i.d. spelen, maar meer niet.

Other play restrictions are not (such as "Cast [this card] only during combat".

Volgens mij mag je het landje dus wel in je tegenstanders beurt spelen. Niet meerdere per beurt (tenzij fastbond, exploration, azumi, etc).

Judge?

Wat wil je doen met die galepowder mage? Deze exilen en terug laten komen met 3 verse wish counters? Dat werkt.

-Als de bovenste kaart een land is, mag ik hem dan spelen?
Alleen als het jouw beurt is en je nog geen land had gespeeld.

-Als ik er 2 counters afhaal, en het zijn beide landen, mag ik ze dan spelen?
Tenzij je iets hebt om meerdere landen te mogen spelen: Nee. Je mag maar 1 land per beurt spelen. Tenzij je iets als Exploration hebt liggen.

305.2. A player may normally play only one land during his or her turn; however, continuous effects may increase this number. If any such effects exist, the player announces which effect, or this rule, applies to each land play as it happens.

Dat mag niet. Je mag landen alleen in je eigen beurt spelen.

oh, en nog wat vraagjes:

-Als de bovenste kaart een land is, mag ik hem dan spelen?
-Als ik er 2 counters afhaal, en het zijn beide landen, mag ik ze dan spelen?
-Als ik er een counter afhaal tijdens mijn tegenstander's beurt, en het is een land, mag ik die dan spelen?

Ik speel deze met Galepowder Mage, maar werkt mijn trucje wel?

Voor spells is er geen verschil.

De reden waarom ze het woord "play" gebruiken is omdat als je een landje revealed, je die ook mag spelen (als je nog geen landje gespeeld hebt). En landjes cast je dan weer niet.

Maar wat is dan het verschil tussen cast en play?

Ja, dat werkt prima.

In verband met de ''nieuwe'' Cast/Play regels, werkt deze met eldrazi die zeggen ''whenever you cast''?

Ook leuk met een kaart zoals Sage Owl, Ponder enz.
