Nee, hij kopieert alleen de tekst op de kaart (en evt. andere kopieer-effecten). Verder niks.

Hij is wel redelijk goed in limited ja. Het is altijd een kopie van het sterkste beest in het spel, en een antwoord op vervelende legendary creatures.

Vergis ik me als ik denk dat deze heel goed is in Draft / Sealed ?
Kopieer-effecten zijn namelijk de enige effecten die wel mee gekopieerd worden.
CR 706. Copying Objects
706.2. When copying an object, the copy acquires the copiable values of the original object's characteristics (...). The "copiable values" are the values derived from the text printed on the object (that text being name, mana cost, color indicator, card type, subtype, supertype, expansion symbol, rules text, power, toughness, and/or loyalty),

(...). Other effects (including type-changing and text-changing effects), status, and counters are not copied.

Op het moment dat Clone de battlefield entered is het al een ander beest. Dus je mag gewoon 2 mana betalen, maar dan krijg je 1 kloon (van Clone) en 1 token. Dus inderdaad 2 kopietjes van 1 ander beest.

Hoe werkt Minion Reflector als ik Clone speel en de reflector activeer? krijg ik dan 2x een kopie van wat ik met Clone wil kopieren of mag ik voor het token van Minion Reflector iets anders kiezen?

Ik speel Academy Researchers en leg Eldrazi Conscription neer maakt clone er nog een 12/12 beestje van of niet ?
Bij kopiëren wordt alleen de tekst op de zichtbare kant van de kaart gekopieerd (of bij tokens de denkbeeldige tekst van het token).
Als Bloodline Keeper niet getransformeerd is en je dus de "voorkant" ervan kopieert, dan kun je dus wel tokens maken, maar hij zal nooit kunnen transformeren, omdat hij alleen de voorkant kopieert.
Als Bloodline Keeper wel getransformeerd is, dan kopieer je dus enkel die kant.

Vraag: Zijn alle Shapeshifters Changelings?
Antwoord: Helaas, niet álle Shapeshifters hebben de Characteristic-Defining Ability Changeling, alleen als het expliciet op de kaart staat. Clone is bijvoorbeeld wel een Shapeshifter, maar heeft niet de Changeling-ability, dus je krijgt geen korting van kaarten als Brighthearth Banneret of Goblin Warchief.

If the chosen creature is copying something else (for example, if the chosen creature is another Clone), then your Clone enters the battlefield as whatever the chosen creature copied.

If the chosen creature is a token, Clone copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that put it onto the battlefield. Clone is not a token.

Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied creature will trigger when Clone enters the battlefield. Any “as [this creature] enters the battlefield” or “[this creature] enters the battlefield with” abilities of the chosen creature will also work.

If the chosen creature has X in its mana cost (such as Protean Hydra), X is considered to be zero.

Clone copies exactly what was printed on the original creature and nothing more (unless that creature is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn’t copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on.

If Clone somehow enters the battlefield at the same time as another creature, Clone can’t become a copy of that creature. You may choose only a creature that’s already on the battlefield.

You can choose not to copy anything. In that case, Clone enters the battlefield as a 0/0 Shapeshifter creature, and is probably put into the graveyard immediately.
