Ja, hij vraagt om een "target spell or ability" en dus is een spell/ability zonder target(s) ook een legal target. Anders had er iets als "target spell or ability with one or more targets" moeten staan.
Vervolgens doet hij bij het resolven zoveel als mogelijk, niks dus.

Mag ik de ability van Spellskite ook spelen op een spell of ability zonder targets? Er zal dan natuurlijk niets veranderen, maar als ik graag mijn levenstotaal omlaag wil brengen?

Nee dus. Spellskite is geen spell, dus een illegale target, waardoor er niks zal gebeuren.
kun je met deze ook een counterspell van target veranderen?
Misschien dat Revoker meer play gaat zien wanneer M13 legaal is. Toegang tot Duress en Despise maakt de Revoker stukken beter.

spellskite lijkt me wat minder specifiek waardoor je hem vaker goed kan gebruiken.

toch een interessante kaart die weinig gespeeld wordt, net als zijn broertje Phyrexian Revoker. Welke is beter? Ik vind deze zijn body wel fijner..

bovendien, stel je kan via een andere manier een equipment van de tegenstander attachen aan een creature van jou (bijv Magnetic Theft) dan heb je daar in het geval van Jitte waarschijnlijk niks aan. Je tegenstander blijft de controller van Jitte en hij blijft degene die de abilities van Jitte kan activeren.

Vraag: Kan ik een Equipment van mijn tegenstander laten equippen op mijn Spellskite?
Antwoord: Nee, je kunt geen Equip ability van je tegenstander z'n equipment naar jouw Spellskite veranderen (want Equip is: "attach to target creature you control" ).
Wat ook niet werkt:
- Je kunt Arc Trail niet aanpassen zodat beide targets naar Spellskite wijzen (want er staat "another" op de kaart).
- Je kunt Remember the Fallen niet veranderen naar Spellskite (want die target een creature card in je graveyard, niet op de battlefield).
