Je mag dan kiezen, spelen of onderop. Cascade effect van remove tot... is verplicht het daadwerkelijk spelen van de spel niet.
als ik een dreadnought tegenkom, moet ik dan ook creatures saccen? moet ik deze kaart dan spelen?

Tja je hoeft ook niet de beste kaart te bannen, want ze willen ook niet jund vermoorden, ze willen het gewoon op ongeveer zelfde niveau houden als de rest zodat men goed variaties blijft spelen/proberen.
Dat sowieso wel maar Elf -> Goyf blijft toch wel een beetje insane. Ik ga d'r missen, altijd groot fan van geweest maar wel beter voor format. :-)

Dit was niet eens de beste kaart in Jund. 4 mana is namelijk best wat. Het deck zal blijven overleven hoor

Tja het is goed om te zien dat ze Modern gezond willen houden en in balans houden, indien een deck zoals jund geperfectioneerd is en te consistent sterk dan slopen ze een keykaart. En ik denk dat een andere kaart gespaard is 1 vanwege een reprint en omdat die ook in andere groene decks voorkomt.
Ben benieuwd naar welke kant de balans nu zal verschuiven. gok richting rood/wit/blauw.
Wel terecht. Goed dat ze zo snel reageren op ontwikkelingen in Modern. Deze kaart is in jund gewoon te sterk.

Je krijgt twee kaarten voor de prijs van één Zolang je niet de kans loopt om über-situationele kaarten te raken met je cascade is het iedere keer alsof je twee kaarten trekt ipv eentje

Je krijgt 2 voor 1. Een gratis Ponder ofzo is nooit verkeerd. En als je je deck er om heen bouwt krijg je bijna alleen maar goede dingen. Elf into Blightning ofzo is niet slecht toch.

Dus je kunt voor een groot deel niet bepalen wat je krijgt met cascade? Wat maakt deze elf (en cascade in het bijzonder) dan bijvoorbeeld zo goed?
Nee.
Dan gaat Harrow simpelweg mee onderop je library en is Cascade klaar met resolven.

Even een vraagje over cascade, aangezien ik het Alara block heb overgeslagen 
Stel ik cast deze Elf, en de cascade trigger gaat af en ik reveal een Harrow. Stel ik kies er niet voor die Harrow te casten, mag ik dan doorgaan met revealen op zoek naar iets wat ik wél wil casten?

Cascade triggers when you cast the spell, meaning that it resolves before that spell. If you end up casting the exiled card, it will go on the stack above the spell with cascade.

After you’re done exiling cards and casting the last one if you chose to do so, the remaining exiled cards are randomly placed on the bottom of your library. Neither you nor any other player is allowed to know the order of those cards.

The converted mana cost of a split card is determined by the combined mana cost of its two halves. If cascade allows you to cast a split card, you may cast either half but not both halves.
