Je moet altijd een legaal target hebben. Als er totaal geen creatures, enchantments, artifacts of landen in het spel zijn, kan je deze niet spelen. Je kan echter wel een artifact creature gebruiken voor de target artifact en target creature. Er moet dan dus wel nog een land en enchantment aangewezen kunnen worden als target.

je kunt deze toch ook spelen als er bijv geen creature in het spel is toch? die ability "destroy target creature" gaat dan gewoon niet af en alle andere abilities wel. toch?

You no longer need four distinct targets for Decimate. If the spell or ability uses the word target in multiple places, the same object or player can be chosen once for each instance of the word “target.” For example, you could choose Tree of Tales for both the artifact and the land. You still need a legal target enchantment and creature as well.
