23-1-2014 13:29:00

Ok bedankt!

Klopt.

"you may turn a face-down permanent you control face up. This is a special action; it doesn't use the stack"

Betekent dit dat niemand hierop kan reageren?

23-1-2014 00:18:00

Bedankt voor dit zeer uitgebreide antwoord.

Dat kan.

Face-down beesten herinneren zich hoe ze er face-up uitzagen, dus je face-down token weet dat hij morph heeft (en eigenlijk een Mischievous Quanar is).

702.36d If you have priority, you may turn a face-down permanent you control face up. This is a special action; it doesn't use the stack (see rule 115). To do this, show all players what the permanent's morph cost would be if it were face up, pay that cost, then turn the permanent face up. (If the permanent wouldn't have a morph cost if it were face up, it can't be turned face up this way.) The morph effect on it ends, and it regains its normal characteristics. Any abilities relating to the permanent entering the battlefield don't trigger when it's turned face up and don't have any effect, because the permanent has already entered the battlefield.

707.2a If a face-up permanent is turned face down by a spell or ability, it becomes a 2/2 face-down creature with no text, no name, no subtypes, and no mana cost. These values are the copiable values of that object's characteristics.

707.8. As a face-down permanent is turned face up, its copiable values revert to its normal copiable values. Any effects that have been applied to the face-down permanent still apply to the face-up permanent. Any abilities relating to the permanent entering the battlefield don't trigger and don't have any effect, because the permanent has already entered the battlefield.

Officiele rulings

3/14/2017
The token copies exactly what was printed on the original creature and nothing else (unless that creature is copying something else or is a token; see below). It doesn’t copy whether that creature is tapped or untapped, whether it has any counters on it or Auras and Equipment attached to it, or any non-copy effects that have changed its power, toughness, types, color, or so on.

3/14/2017
If the copied creature has X in its mana cost, X is considered to be 0.

3/14/2017
If the copied creature is a token, the token that’s created copies the original characteristics of that token as stated by the effect that created the token.

3/14/2017
If the copied creature is copying something else (for example, if the copied creature is an Evil Twin), then the token enters the battlefield as whatever that creature copied.

3/14/2017
Any enters-the-battlefield abilities of the copied creature will trigger when the token enters the battlefield. Any “as [this creature] enters the battlefield” or “[this creature] enters the battlefield with” abilities of the chosen creature will also work.
