Klopt. Hij raakt de graveyard niet en dus triggert Soulshift niet.

Waar staat dan dat t de commander moet zijn? Kan toch prima in een multicoloured spirit deck?
Additief: zou de soulshift werken als dit de commander is en naar de command zone gaat ipv de graveyard?
Denk t niet aangezien t een replacement effect is en nooit de gy raakt en dus niet' dies'.

Alleen hoe maak je dan handig steeds opnieuw spirits om te sacrificen, aangenomen dat He Who Hungers je commander is, en je dus mono zwart speelt.
Zwrat heeft zelf 2 kaarten die een spirit token kunnen maken: Broken Visage en Seize the Soul, beide eenmalig, niet echt je van het om een deck op te baseren.
Colorless heb je wat nuttigere keuzes: Gallows at Willow Hill of Avacyn’s Collar. Tatsumasa, the Dragon’s Fang en Baku Altar lijken me dan weer minder handig.
Deze is nog best wel spicy als je hem zo leest voor EDH
