Dit is eigenlijk best een leuke kaart voor een casual deckje met b.v. Apex of Power. Met blauw is het ook niet zo moeilijk om die op te zoeken op het juiste moment, of hem juist weer terug te shufflen als je hem te vroeg in je hand hebt.
Ook Primal Surge comes to mind, als 1-off in een deck met verder alleen maar permanents. Natuurlijk wel Elixir of Immortality, Laboratory Maniac en dat soort fratsen erbij.

Vraagje. Als ik deze ability gebruik om een sorcery te casten met casting cost X, hoe wordt X dan bepaald?

If you cast a spell “without paying its mana cost,” you can’t choose to cast it for any alternative costs. You can, however, pay additional costs, such as kicker costs. If the card has any mandatory additional costs, such as that of Severed Strands, those must be paid to cast the card.
